Nearly every child in Spanish-speaking countries awaits the coming of the three kings on the eve of January 6th. While we celebrate with our Christmas parades before December 25, traditional parades, Cabalgatas, take place in Spain on January 5th. The most famous Cabalgata in Spain is in Sevilla. It is much like our parades but ends with the three kings bearing gifts carried by camels. The floats in the parade are very imaginative and the costumes are beautiful.
